you deserve a better divvy.
Launched in 2013, the Divvy bike share program quickly became an integral part of Chicago's transportation network, growing from 300 stations to now over 1,000 across the city. One of the early success stories of the micromobility movement, the promise of the system was affordable transportation and connected communities – providing convenient access to a bike (or scooter) whenever and wherever you need.
But for the last several years Divvy has become increasingly unaffordable, struggled with keeping stations from being too full or too empty, keeping bikes in good repair, and faced challenges expanding to fulfill the promise of universal access.
You deserve better, and better is possible!
